Simone Morris-Rattray is the founder and Senior Counsel of Simone Morris- Rattray and Associates. The firm was registered at the Companies Office of Jamaica since November 2019. Currently, there are two full time attorneys, Mesdames Simone Morris-Rattray, Shawnna-Kay Johnson, and a consultant attorney, Mrs. Dawn Campbell-Douglas.

Simone Morris-Rattray
Mrs. Rattray has been called to the Jamaican bar since November 2001 and hones specialized skills in Commercial Law, Property Law and Construction Law; having worked in the housing/ real estate industry for most of her professional life. Mrs Rattray holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Liverpool, a Bachelor of Law and Arts from the University of the West Indies and a Certificate of Legal Education from the Norman Manley Law School. Mrs Rattray has worked both in the private and public sector, namely Housing Agency of Jamaica Ltd, New Era Homes 2000 Ltd, Kemtek Development & Construction Ltd, the Real Estate Board/ Commission of Strata Corporations and the Urban Development Corporation. Having held senior positions in some of the establishments mentioned, Mrs Rattray was able to concretize her knowledge of planning/ regulatory laws, processes, and procedures governing the real estate industry.
Shawnna-Kay Johnson
Ms. Johnson serves as the firm’s junior attorney, she graduated from the University of London with a Bachelor of Law degree with Honors, she obtained a Certificate of Legal Education from the Norman Manley Law School and has completed internships at Messrs. Knight, Junor Samuels and Messrs, Davis Robb & Co. She was called to the Jamaican Bar in January 2020 and has been with the firm for over a year. Her main area of practice is litigation; however, she primarily handles our Resident Magistrate Court matters as well as applications for modification of restrictive covenants, personal injury and Family Court matters. We take pride in our delivery of excellent customer service and timeliness in dealing with our clients matters.
